About us
Henry Timber Co. was born from a family tradition of farmers that got their start near the small town of Tipton, Indiana. As a young child I have fond memories of walking through rows of corn, playing in old barns and running around my grandparent's farm with all my cousins. I remember one time, when my grandpa and uncles had to take down a barn that was becoming a safety hazard, they dug a small pit then proceeded to pull the barn down with a tractor and chains before setting the pile of broken timbers on fire. My, how times have changed! Those barns that were once discarded are now very sought after for the old growth, often hand worked timbers used to build them. Our goal is to bring people together with the past, re-purposing beautiful old wood for use today.
